2014 YALSA Teens’ Top Ten Nominees Announced

TeensTopTen logo web 2014 YALSA Teens Top Ten Nominees AnnouncedThe Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association, officially announced the 2014 Teens’ Top Ten Nominees. Teens are encouraged to read the 25 nominees before the national Teens’ Top Ten vote, which starts August 15 and goes through Teen Read Week, from October 12-18.  The 10 nominees that receive the most votes will be named the official Teens’ Top Ten.

This year’s list of nominees features 25 titles that were published between Jan. 1, 2013 and Dec. 31, 2013. They are as follows:

  • Arnett, Mindee. “The Nightmare Affair.” Tor Teen.
  • Banks, Anna. “Of Triton.” Macmillan/Feiwel and Friends.
  • Bardugo, Leigh. “Siege and Storm.” Macmillan/Henry Holt Books for Young Readers.
